Update

Anyone know if there any dither fish that can survive this setup? I want to spread more aggression with my cichlids because my JD ever since all the bps and my FH had moved out is being a little more persistent in pushing away my remaking bp. So the JD will hang around on the left behind the coliseum decor and when the bp comes over to the JD chases it off but the Angels are still allowed to hang with the JD with minimal aggression. I just was wondering if any dithers would survive since most the ones used for cichlids are top swimmers like danios and tetras but those would be snacks for the arowana. So are there any dither fish for my tank or is it just set like this. The Cory cats came with the arowana and Angels with the upgrade and they are loving the new space. Nobody seems to mind them

Try silver dollars if you dont have live plants IMO

it's all ready over crowed with the silver and others in a 150 hope your planning on a 300 for the silver but you could try some if you have good filtration and are planning on upgrading soon when the silver outgrows it you could mover the dollars in aswell

That's just my opinions though no harm meant

I know what u mean but since I'm still in high school acquiring a 300 has been my 1 year struggle as of this moment l. But the filtration in the tank is around 205 gallons cause I have a 150 gal filter and a 55 gal filter so the waters pretty clear. The dollars get pretty big so I may try them or not cause I don't want to crowd up to much when I don't have a 300 yet we will see I may have to remove the Angels or the JD later down the road

Update been in the tank 3 weeks now waters super clear and eats like a beast. Scared me the other day when I was feeding it I opened the lid and was about to dump the pellets in from my hand when it leapt out (half its body past the lid and it took the pellets from my hand (scared me cause I thought it jumped out) and now it also eats 2 market shrimps every couple days along with crickets and mealworms.
