So a few weeks in and he still hasn't touched the plants.
Did a bit of impulse buying and chucked a few platys and a tiny little firemouth in.

Looking good - let us know how it goes with the plattys - I’ve thought about doing this myself after seeing a guy who did it with a pair of midas on YouTube

He has always been fine with any fish that doesn't challenge his dominance, had swordtails in with my old midas pair, the male chased them once every so often but never hurt any.
