Update

Well I just thought I would give a little update of my little AT. Well he is so hyper never stops swimming around unless it was just fed lol (to fat ha ha), and he is currently eating shrimp from my hand. it is very bright silver and it has peachish/orange on its under side of the head and its name is Rocko.oh and I thought I would just add I have to say it has 10x more personality then a Oscar worth the price I paid!!!

just thought I would share, and wondering if anyone knows if the color on the underside of the head means what sex it is or how do you sex them?

That's awesome...glad to hear he's doing well. My ATs are the same way...very active and personable.

There isn't a definite way to sex datnoids...almost to the point of them not being sexually dimorphic at all. I notice when I feed a lot of shrimp or especially krill, my fish get that orange/pink hue to them.

I just have crappy 2mp camera phone picks my good Cannon 640 was stolen, so hopefully I will get a new camera soon...

I will try and get some decent shots though... actually he is being camera shy atm so I will try again late...
