NICE setup, I think I would be satisfied with a 200 gallon....................Nah, I would need 4 200 gallon tanks to satisfied.

Your jar is a monster!!!!!

I feel the same way, but I dont have any more room in my little apartment for any tanks, already have a 60 and 30 gallon also, haha.

In my bedroom, on one side of the bed is the 200 gallon, and on the other side is the 60 gallon. Somehow I tricked my girlfriend into liking them, haha.

Hello, I got a two questions.
What is the sand at the bottom of your tank called? and where'd you buy/get it?
And i was wondering how would you clean out your tank? and how often?

Thanks:naughty:

beautiful! this is about like the setup I want. What are the dimensions of the tank?

GoD, I'm not sure exactly which brand it was, but the sand is essentially just bouht at my LFS in the big plastic bags. It was a higher grain, so a little ****** pieces. I got it at eyecandyaquariums.com, it's my LFS across the street from my house, great store the owner is my buddy.
As for cleaning, that's what my loaches are for. I have 8 of them now, and they constantly sift through the waste in the sand looking for food. This causes the non-food waste to stir up into the filtration, a Fluval FX5. Other then that, I do a water change of about 30% usually every weekend. When I do this I just use a siphon (or what some call a gravel filter) with the hose going into the toilet, I suck up big waste I see on top of the sand, move the rocks about to get waste under them, and then just let it suck water for a while.

dvs, the tank is 24"x24"x84", or 200 gallons.
