Updated growth pics of my BP's...

I was browsing some old pics of my fish and found some shots of when I first got my ball pythons.

I was shocked by the difference. I had a sense they had grown but I forgot how small they were when I got them.

I got the normal (Toshiro) back in August, and the pastel (Samurai) at NARBC in early Sept.

He's in shed right now, I'll post pics in this thread in a few days when he's done. Here he is at 255g

Very nice! The patterns looks awesome, I really want a snake but I'm pretty sure my mom and dad wouldn't like that idea as they hate snakes.....(could barely get pass them with fish.....)

Thanks bro, I like the contrast between the normal with stripe pattern on it's neck, and the pastel that has dots on its neck

I just noticed that Annabelle my cat grew in the pics too


Have you tried asking your parents why they don't like snakes? If you can find that out and explain why it's not a problem, you might get one.

Tell them they aren't harmful, you'll sanitize your hands after handling them or their cages, they can't escape, etc... etc...

Trust me dude when your in a Hmong family your parents choose what comes in the house.... My mom is afraid of a lot of things...
I tried persuading them into letting me get a dog and my dad told me to choose the dog or him as a father......
But I'm happy with my fish.

I don't bro, I got him at the NARBC from a somewhat shady table towards the back lol, the receipt I have says 'Pet Jungle' with no contact info.

I got him for $85... not bad for a cheap pastel

I've seen some comparison shots between some lines, but I'll never know unless I see them there again and I can ask.

That cat is an attention whore. Most MFKers that have stopped by my place to pick-up fish have had some kind of experience with her. She popped John's plastic bags, she attacked Xcuter, she jumped into Joe's rubbermaid tub, and into Jasons cardboard box for his light that he let me test out on my tank haha I've been meaning to make an lolcatz pic of her

Thanks bro, I was shocked at how much the color is developing, I've read that they fade or brown when they get bigger.

Maybe this is just the peak of color and it goes downhill from here. Hopefully not.
