Beautiful fish and setup. How long has that tank been up and running?

sorry for the stupid question, but what is that fish in pic #4? some type of barb?

The fourth pic is a flagtail. Not a barb.

The last pic in the first series is lemon fin barbs. I got these from Rapps along with the flagtail.

I like your setup :D
Just inspired me to take out the bits of ~1.5in rocks scattered around my gravel o.o

I would get some driftwood but I can't find any decent sized ones that aren't expensive :(
I'm guna steal a big rock from someones front yard tho :naughty:

My vertical pieces came from BigAlsOnline and were not too expensive even with shipping. My horizontal pieces came from Petsmart and a LFS in Atlanta. The horizontal pieces are the African wood that is heavier that water but the BigAls stuff will not stay down on its own, even after 6 months of soaking. Not sure what kind of wood it is. It also took about 3-4 months before my tank got clean from the wood leaching but now the water is perfect.

Since a few people have commented on the lighting I would let you know what type it is. I changed all of the 6700 degree bulbs over to 50/50 saltwater bulbs. The 50/50 have a more balanced, white light where the 6700 have a yellow color to them. The reason a lot of people say saltwater fish have more color is the lighting, so why not put the same lighting on a freshwater tank.
