Jag is too small IMO to sex, mine is 6" and I'm still not 100%

What size tank do you have? I really wanted to get a jag and a jack dempsey for a new tank I'm setting up but it is only 55g I decided that i will have the JD and 4-5 convicts in the tank instead. I have heard that if you get the jags from a very small age they are likely to be much less agressive if brought up with tankmates, have you noticed this?

i am thinking female jag as well. but would need to grow some to tell for sure. bond007 if your jag is 6" and you dont know what the sex is it's because you dont know how to tell. make a post about it and take a good side pic.
