Mine are fine with larger fish, but will eat anything under 5", I'd say it's worth a shot when both the gatf and rays are 12"+...No risk, no reward....right?

That's easy for you to say! I think it will depend on how many i can hoard. If i can get five or six then i would love them in a tank alone!
