That 90 only really has Pfs a fake cave, sm dw and a sm fake plant, guess its the simplicity? He does love the cave tho! Hopefully one day I will find another stunner piece of dw but I feel like that's a one time thing..

You still breeding those con fry?

nice rhom.

no offence im just wondering here what is it with taking live fish out to measure them? i dont follow on what it achieves except stressing out your fish/possibly hurting them while trying to catch them.

I used to think that too but he only has done it 2x in over two years, cant be that bad unless you suck at netting...

How do YOU recommend getting an accurate measurement? tape on the side of the tank? Not accurate. You'd only get a guesstimate

As mentioned above, I've done it 3 times in like 2.5 years. The fish eats right after as if nothing happened. I never thought it was a big deal until the few times people on here have asked. I don't see it any different then when you guys transport your fish to a new tank or do water changes or reaquascape

Yea if ur good at it its not that bad, but if you fumble it on the floor, or make it slam the wall a bunch while netting and its flops aroumd while measuring then that's bad, but seems like Baller knows what he's doing!

I don't know if it's noticeable in the pic but it's a huge net and the fish is laying on it. It never leaves the net. it took a good size chunk out of it this time though

I know what you all mean by Rhoms growing sooo slow. I have owned mine for many years now and it has only grown like about 2 inches. Here is my Blue Diamond Rhom, at about 10.5-11 inches. He's thick and high back and wide bodied. I have owned Red bellies, Caribes, Mannys, Black Masked elongatus, Ternetzi, Piraya, Altuvi, but this BDR of mine is the only one I keep and will stay with me forever. It is one of my pride and joy Pets.
Pics are from today 4/2/13 LOVE THEM DIAMONDS!
