i would have to guess male on that RT i see some spangling in the dorsal fin

How old are the ciclids? Ciclids can be hard to tell which sex they are until they mature. For example, I raise a couple Oscars and it is very difficult to sex them even after they reach maturity at 1 1/2 years old. Sometimes you may tell by size, markings, growth rate, and/or behavior; but, these signs are not guaranteed by any means....
Good Luck..
Sorry I couldnt be more help

no worry everything helps they are very young under 8 months the EBJD and under less prob for red terror they only like 3 inches max more like 2.

Thanks. I got a pic when he was smaller below and looks darker but changes colors still.. I read they have problems sometimes and mine has been fine and is agressive. he had cloudy eye once when small but got cured quick and bounced back. is growing quick. I feed chiclid pellets, and shrimp pellets, and blood worms and sometimes minno's maybe once every three weeks.

Female would be cool who knows maybe they will breed. That would be a cool mix. Thanks for the feedback I am thinking of just adding one more fish thinking a Red Tiger Motageuse

The Red Terror is Female - jawline looks like she's smiling not frowning like the males.

but no black area on the dorsal fin which is consistant with females.

i would guess male but someone with more than guesses will pop up soon.
