Nice tank and fish!
yer there that low so i dont have to turn them off to do WC lol. there is actually 4 in there. the sand is quite deep yes, i bought 3 25kg bags and 2 wasent quite enough and once ide opend the 3rd thought i might as well put the lot in.
do you guys do black sand at wharf?
do you sell the very very small round pea gravel? i used to use it and loved it but carnt find it anywere.
tank size is 7x3x2, its just a temp tank as my plan is to have an 11x3x2.5 as soon as i can afford it or the bank will give me a loan lol.joey020283;3527023; said:looks fantastic! Both the tank and the fish are superb. tanks size?
I noticed your E300's all show a blue screen indicating the tanks temp is lower than your preset temp. Do you find they are like this all the time? I find that mine do the same thing, i set mine at 29C but they hover around 27-27.5C.
the E300 are blue because ide just done a waterchange mate. they heat up to 29c nicely and only go blue while i do WC.
how cold is the room your tank is in? maybe they are struggling to get it up to temp.

By the way, is that basic pool filter sand or something different?
its simply called BD TRADING sand mate, sold for aquariums. its the one type of sand that is easy to get. anything different is a challenge.
thanks for your comments guys.
im thinking the cloudy water is because i changed all the filter floss of this new stuff i thoughgt ide try from SERA. i dident read the bag but is says it MUST be washed in warm tap water first! strange neevr had to wash fliterfloss before but its says it has to be so this is probably the reason.
