That 4th pic from the bottom is a Flowerhorn. If you bought it as a trimac it's not pure. Way to many pearls to be a pure trimac.

that fish in the 4th pic is a FH... sorry to burst your bubble...

Trimacs DO NOT have spangles on the gill cover for 1.

2 look at the red area on this fish. true trimacs DO NOT have the red go back as far as this fish has, look at it. it goes back thru HALF the body.

this is what I SEE right off the bat of looking at this photo, to determine that this isn't a True Trimac... here is a pic of a real trimac about the same age.

here is one a little older, but you can still see what i'm talking about.

if i was you i'd post this pic on a FH forum, and see what they say.

the rest of your fish including the flowerhorn look awesome keep up the good work on care

Sad days when you can't tell a real Trimac apart from a Flowerhorn. It could be either in my opinion but if the bloody things didn't exist there wouldn't be this problem.
