you are really just gonna have to wait a month or two. There is so much variation in these fish at the juvi stage to tell. However I will agree that anyone who says it is a red terror or uro should NOT try ID fish for anybody PLEASE

Seriously unless oddball or aquamojo come in here to identify it I wouldn't believe anybody 100% on the indentity of this fish until it grows larger.

Barred Midas, selling at Petsmart in my town for $5.99

They came from PetSmart, fresh from Segrest Farms as Midas. And before this derails into a PetSmart sucks thread,and only sell mutant hybrids, some of us do know how to read the bag label that comes from the supplier. This is the way they came in, this is the way they went out. Took them because they look nothing like the rest of the midas we get in.

It's a Barred Midas...Amphilophus citrinellum. The red coloration in the face is prevalent in juveniles. Good looking pair.
