overhead flash, shutter speed at least 1/200, iso 100...you'll get sharp shots of any fish...of course, get a decent camera:P

Very hard, when I was taking the pics and video, in fact the fish made a very big splash, didn't know he got such a tremendous strength.

I am using Sony Cybershot T70, i dunno if I need to invest in a better camera like a Nikon DSLR or something. Will they make a difference?
 
You don't need a DSLR to take good pics.
Try this, take the pics at night with only the fish tank lights on.
No other lights, and flash at an angle where you can't see the reflection.
He looks very good luc.

Go get a cannon SLR... Confirm got different
I try my friend one just on light point and shot can get very good picture easily. Get a tripod too... It heavy compare to my small one.
I almost get a SLR end up got another aimara....
So when getting a aimara or a new SLR?

If i were to get a new camera it has to be at least a Nikon D300s or equivalent, as I have been wanting to get a good camera. For Aimara, still interested, but I believe more will come, I hv to be patient.
Anyway, I have already drawn out a road map(for tank setup) for my future home.

Have tried that, but the GATF look all white when photo is taken. It is quite diff as compared to taking arowanas, camera diff and fish also different.

Hmmm, yeah you're right.
That's the problem with silvery fish.

Armatus, on the other hand, is much easier to take pics, they always "freeze" there for a moment.

Somemore the irritating this about the Sony Cybershot is that there is always a red light shone on the fish. The GATF always got scared cuz of this, and with the slower apperture speed, I ended up with the tail portion only sometimes.
