Updates from the 300

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The ansorgii seem to be getting a bit restless in the 65b. I really want to move him but still a chunk out of the side fain that is taking a long time to fill in. It is healthy and happy, im just worried about the big Croc going at it in the 300... I guess I just need to move it and see what happens.

So far so good. Seems calm and only flinched a little when Porkchop came and checked out what was going on. It realized it was not in danger and started exploring.

Just keep an eye on it, any sign of bites take it out:)

All the confusion of tank cleaning seemed perfect timing. All the polys were in chaos since I pulled out the large mopani they like and scubbbed it down and gravel vac the sand under it. So the new guy went unnoticed for a while and got to check out the tank in peace. Most of the polys have darkened considerably in the big tank and the ansorgii really shows up light. So I hope it too darkens. Off to bed and hope they all get along tonight.

Update in the morning! Lol hope everything goes well

Threw tilapia in before hitting the sack. Always a good sign when the fish eats right away and the ansorgii had no issue. Decided to get some food in the tank so that the polys would be occupied with feeding for a bit before they do what they do... As Croc has got bigger it seems as if he is more calm. He barely ever chases the koliba and it was almost uneventful when the Faranah Guinea lap went in. Hopefully the ansorgii has no issue too. I am curious to test the pellet theory out too. The ansorgii would not touch pellets so now will it learn from the others and eat pellets? Will find out tomorrow.

You need more polys so croc can get use to the crowd:D

All is well with Nom Nom the ansorgii this morning. I did not see any bites or messed uptail and it was in the thick of it with the other polys. It does seem like the sheer numbers can help with aggression since Croc has mellowed considerably.
Glad to hear his doing good, and croc becoming mellow now, fingers cross. Now the real question is whats you next poly? Koloton? Lolz
