Feel guilty to post with no pics, lol

The Nigerian is a dainty eater. It likes tilapia but will not eat to excess. It ate some cut up smelt but again left a lot behind. Have tried krill on it twice with no success, same with massivore. wondering if it is just the stress and new foods or possible parasite issues. Since it has ate something Im going to run the parasite treatments on it tonight. Maybe it may increase its appetite.

My nigerian laps are the same, they will only eat 3-4 pieces of what ever i put in the tank. They dont eat like endlies or CB poly.

All nigerian laps i had wc & cb are similar as yours dmd. Same with pbb. Maybe they were adult sizes already. Both i had were never big eaters. Just ate enough to wait until next time.

On the other hand. Koloton amd faranah laps and both polyaddicted86 laps are eating until 'Lumptified'!

Well thats interesting to learn about the Nigerian lap. While I really dont see the Koliba or Faranah laps eat since I feed at night, the Koliba has much more girth and thickness whereas the Faranah is very sleek and not plump but looks just right. The Nigerian at this point is freakishly thin and Im trying to get meat on its bones, so I guess I just want to stuff it full of food. lol

Nigerian lap takes awhile to become fat, i had mine before i had my ansorgii, congi and other endli. Most of my polys became fatter than the nigerian lap and like Vancouver_98683 Vancouver_98683 mentioned my faranah lap eat like pigs and its catching up on girth to my nigerian lap.

Sorry Polyaddict86 Polyaddict86 , no new pics to update today.

Quiet uneventful weekend with fishtanks. Nigerian lap is on its third and final trearment with the Tetra parasite guard. Im kind of getting tired of maintenance on the extra tank Im using for Qt so I might just put the fish into the 300 this week and keep it running just in case I have an issue.

If all goes well with the Nigerian in the big tank, I can tear down the 40B Qt tank.... and sell it. Never fear I still have a 65B in the garage as the new Qt tank. lol. More of a gesture to the wife that selling off another tank means Im going in the right direction with the downsizing.
