  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hope you're feeling better.

Thanks, just dealing with dupuytren contracture in my left hand and it causes the ring finger to curl up and lock in place. Ive had trigger finger surgery before and it looks like I will have to deal with another hand surgery down the road. Steroid injection in the hand for now should keep me going for six months at least.

Been a little busy with some mild health related issue so I had not been on the site as much. So just a couple pics, just because.

That sucks. :(

I'm a hand therapist so I know what Dupuytrens is about. Are you considering needle aponeurotomy?

Hope the steroids work for you.

I did steroids with the trigger finger and 1st shot gave me relief for about 6 months the 2nd shot for about 3 months and 3rd time went for the surgery. Since Im diabetic they are pretty sure the Dupuytrens will result in surgery down the road. The needle aponeurotomy kind of freaks me out more than just surgery. Lol

Thank you, it is just one of those in things in life.

Yep, the ansorgii has been active... with his man-fin

Sorry to hear you dealing with some health issue. Ill be here if you need to rehome your polys:)

Your a great friend... Im sure no one else would help with polys. :p

I think it's psychologically freaky- I've seen it done and the people don't seem to feel pain or anything... but I get it. :). It's weird to watch, even!

Is it similar to dry needling? That's cool that you are a hand therapist!

I'm considering going to PT school. Can't decide between that and marine bio for grad school.
