Updates from the 300

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Still high on the want list for me are the crassipinnis or bumblebee oscar, then it would be the red Bahia oscar and finally the ones I have coming.

Not that anyone is better than the other just preference based on pattern and colors.

Chin freckles? Lol

I really dont have a solid stand on this one. But I do feel there are so many similar features that it really is hard to make a clear judgment on it.

A old video of my Oscar while he was sick....

The only thing that I dislike about O's is there sensativity to crappy water.

Yeah, to this day I still cant figure out what got that Oscar. A bacterial infection of some sort is the nearest I can figure. I babied that fish more than any other fish Ive owned and still lost it.

Yeah that was tough. You tried everything under the sun for that guy. Allot of people would have given up.

I feel bad for O's they are peddled as beginner type fish when it's kind of the opposite. My biggest fear with them is HITH

Have the triplets showed up yet? How are they doing? Juan says he needs pics of his cousins.

Everything was well packed with a heat pad and all fish individually bagged

Floating in the tank, hard to see details with the double bag

Not all that exciting, they are going into a 65B as a growout till I decide on a keeper for the 300. still waiting on the background to come in. I did put some plastic plants in there after I added the little guys.

Oscar #1

Oscar #2

Oscar #3

In typical Oscar fashion... straight to the bottom to sulk in their new home
