Updates from the 300

On a side note... I am not liking the Fluval E series heater on the 65B in the garage tank. I cant get it to heat up. In the puffer tank inside the house where the room temp is higher it works fine. I had the same issue with these on the 300 gallon and I pulled them out and put in SERA heaters that worked great. I have some Aqueon Pro sitting around that I may use instead. Not happy with overall performance of the Fluval E series.

I know they are all still stressed and not showing as they should but so far the smallest one has the most distinctive patterns with the light areas being a lot more crisp looking. Really curious to see how they turn out.

Have not been there this week. Was planning on it this Sunday. I will tell you how they look if you want.
 
Was going to mention my little oscars are only 1.5" and Im so glad I asked about that pike (5"+).... It would have mauled and eaten these little guys like nobody's business.
