Fact is I am niether a handsome nor an ugly swan, or flowerhorn.
If that fish turns out to be anything more than a fecal factory I will be shocked.
That's a very constructive criticism.. I'll keep that in mind

Thx.. I'll keep pumping it up.. ;)

well i guess ur feeding him the right stuff so just keep ur fin(ger)s crossed and hope he turns out a beauty.....if u can do try out ching mix and grand sumo too....some hobbists say that adding red pebbles to the tank helps????? i dont know about this maybe the others can help

Chingmix & grandsumo are very hard to find so I just stick to what I can get here..
Hmm, red pebbles.. I don't know bout that but I've black & white gravels with crushed corals as substrate..

a variety of food is always best.. spirulina can bring out blues and greens (pearls) more.. and for reds use something with natural astaxanthin.. maybe you can get hai feng? but dont use it heaps.. maybe one or 2 days a week.. or your fish will go real red, but lose the blue/green.. balance is the key

i would also recommend adding some colored gravel.. if the tank is dark.. your fish go dark right ?
if its light, they go light.. if your tank is colorful ? :)

hope this helps

I'm feeding it Hai Feng(the one with blood parrot pic on the label) everyday but I don't see red.. neither do I see blue nor green.. I guess he is destined to be bland..
I've added my tank landscape for you to judge.. I think it's bright enough when the light is on..
