I really really love this fish. He's so classic looking and I think he will do nothing but improve.

Actually he does show tinge of red on his head, then it fades after few hours of feeding..
I've got no idea about his parents.. Even the seller doesn't know..
RD x BP maybe?

it looks suspiciously like a barred midas. i have a rd x faded barred midas that looks a lot like him but with more pearling. i'd post pics, but he's not so interesting.

i would guess it has paratheraps in there somewhere..
keep updating.. im also interested in watching the developement of this fish..
it's a classic shape.. just hope he blooms for you
