well,we never know until we try right?
too bad for it not working out.
what i wouldve done, since that new tank of yours is going to be so massive,is try aimara and armatus together, plus some other faster growing fish.
very risky,but hey,thats just me.

lol... i know ur not serious

part of the problem is the armatus have outgrown the 1-2" feeders and haven't been eating as much. as with most risky cohabs, keeping them full is important. will try the larger feeder fish first.

the orig plan was to put all these characins in with Tems and other large size Pbass in the big tank. I just got done coating it with pondamor today, will test it in a few days.

actually i was.:D
but pbass is an awesome option as well!

Bloody Hell! (twice in half an hour)

I got to try and get Armuatus into the UK. Those pics remind me of a show i saw (monster fish of the Amazon i think...) where a 30" armatus was floating at the top of the Amazon river having nearly choked on a 20" armatus it had taken down.

Good luck!

yes! that was the movie clip that helped me decide to get juvis rather than an 18" one.

found the tail (1/4) of the GATF on tank bottom this morning. Guess he couldn't take it all down.

Mean armatus you have there!
I guess you've done much better than me at keeping predatory characins together, despite the ocassional losses you've still got a healthy stock!

...and I'm left with only ONE armatus, man these fish are crazy!

Love your stock but this makes me think twice about owning an Armatus. Murderers.

Awesome stock! Looks like the armatus get the big tank....and the vatf stay where they are. Im lovin this combo though.
