For over a year I am running dual overflow 3/4 T ing to 1 inch. So I decided to make a larger overflow for more turn over. While I was at it An Algae Scrubber came into play also. I added Some Pics.
This is my overflow design I tested in the garage it pushes 900GPH with 3/4" hose. I will be using 1 1/4" so it should push some more.
It's 1 1/2 T ing to 2"

I also Took apart some rope LED lights and made some plexi Lights for the Algai Scrubber 216 LEDs per light. 4 lights needed for the Algae Scrubber 864 LEDs total.
Each plate will slide down into the chamber between the scrubbers and make em grow.

Anyway this is what I have been experimenting with for a while now....Almost there.
All the plumbing is in place. Sump and overflow need put under the stand and hooked up. I have Two lights made and need to make a lid for my Algae Scrubber.... Maybe tomorrow I'll have time... :)

Well here is the Video. All up and running. My drip tray needs bigger holes this overflow and pump fill up the drip tray and overflow it. I also have some other small things to do but it's circulating just fine.

Awesome! I love it. I didn't see the lights for the algae scrubber? Were they installed?

No lights yet..... I have off tomorrow so I will try to get 2 plexi plates at least on one side tomorrow. Probably the middle chamber so each scrubber gets light on one side.... (for now). ... :)
