Upgrade planning - fun stock options?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That's actually a great idea! Used 75 gallon setups can be found for cheap and I hate this 3-foot 65 footprint. I could then sell my 65 for a little $. I just peeked and found a 75 with stand and lid for $150. I wouldn't need to buy different heater/filter etc for it. Maybe a light d/t footprint.

Again, we'll have to see what the new house holds, but I don't know why I didn't think of that before. Duh. Sometimes you need your friends to help you see outside of the box. ;)

It would also give me more time if I have to wait, and not be really uncomfortable having the Teug in it. I'm sure she'd be OK in a 75 gallon for quite a bit longer than the 65.

Thanks!

The extra foot of length is awesome. I will forever warn people about the limitations of a 3-foot 65 gallon tank as I didn't realize that when I bought mine. It just fit the wall I wanted it to be on better. ;)

With that stock list its tough to say what maintenance would be like at adult sizes.
Looks like 8 or 9 fish ?

Thank you, that is super helpful.

For what its worth i think we share allot of the same opinions mags. I feel like my poly tank looks corwded. Cant really describe it but to me it looks to busy. Not enough empty space. Lol guess thats not gonna help u much

No, it is all helpful because I know we're both on a similar mind frame. Maybe a part of it for you is that the bulk of your fish are on the bottom.

I feel like if I had just a few polys I was psyched on, then I could have other species, still avoid a huge bioload but with different levels of the tank filled out vs. everyone on the bottom?

Now.... how do I get Toyin to notify me when he has another sp. Candybar available? ;)
