what is the white and black cichlid? (i would say OB but it's not orange...) it looks like a labeotropheus or zebra but i cant tell...

it actually an ob blizzard cichlid. beautiful whites and blue and when the light hits it right the orange shines through.
hybrids are whatever you want to call them. to try and classify them or give them some kind of official name is silly.
not all ob are hybrids. all ob peacocks are, but they get their pattern from mbuna that are purely their species. OB red zebras are still M. estherae, and OB labeotropheus are still labeotropheus (trewavase or fuelliborni).
sure they can be hybrids (and yours probably is) but it isn't fair or correct to say that all OB cichlids are hybrids.
