I'm using it in my sump of my 180 gallons. Water quality is better than before and fish 's appetite seem to increase. I think it is the same as bacteria house except that it has to be in the water rather water run through like bacteria house. I have both bacteria house n biohome in my sump.

I put ceramic ring in my sump, and water quality seems better than before, and fish appetite seems to increase... So, which one is better, ceramic rings or biohome?

You got your point . In the end, every one want their fish to be healthy. Healthy fish = happy owner , happy owner = bigger tank
