Are the Ultimas good filters??

I sold my old tank to a friend of mine. The Ultimas are great filters. The ease of use is the key. I have used fluvals and other filters in the past but these are very easy and simple to maintain for large tanks.

What's the maintenance like on a tank that size? Do you even bother with smaller tanks around the house or just have one major one going? Seeing the last 2 tanks, I just can't imagine you having a few around the house with tetras or guppies.

With a auto water change it makes things easy along with the filters. I have a other tanks just incase I need to seperate agression.

so hows the project going so far....any advancements?

I had not really had time to work on tank. I have been out of the country for a month.

Im running a ultima 4000 along with a ultima 2000. We spent the entire day, moving out the 16 footer, cutting the stand on the larger 20 footer tank in order to put it in. You can see the pics that the fork lifts rear tires were in the air because of how heavy that thing was.

I am looking at filtration for a 2000g and want your opinion on going for an Ultima 4000 or 6000?
Is the 6000 overkill and the 4000 will do?
