So i purchased a 220 gal tank off craigslist. It leaked so I am almost to the point of putting it back together. Now I am moving some of the fish in my 55 into it. They are a Firemouth, 4 pictus catfish and 6 giant danios (for the time being). I was wondering what people would suggest. I have an idea that I might try a Electric Blue jack dempsey and was thinking about a blue acara. What does other MFK members think about stocking options with the fish I have.

Yeah, depends what you like. EBJD and blue acara would work, if you're keeping the 55 running I'd grown the blue jack out in it for awhile, they can get delicate when small.

I do like them. I am thinking of staying with the cichlids. Now I just dont want to over do the tank and have aggression issues. My firemouth is not aggressive so I am trying to stay with the less aggressive cichlids. But with only being in the hobby for alittle over a year I am not sure how many and what combination to go with. I know it all depends on the fish.
