zebra pleco L046 x2
gold nugget L018 x1
opal spot L082 x1
clown pleco L206 x2

what do you guys think any issues with a planted tank? I know i set a 10" limit but ill give alittle
Not a good choice for a cichlid tank. Especially the zebras, which need warmer waters, and are very shy. Generally people keep $400 fish in tanks of their own, not with fish that are known aggressive fish.

how about l273...titanicus
a very pretty fish who won't get much more than 11"
males get awesome metallic reddish sheen
check 'em out

well, my pleco's tore up my banana plant and a few other plants i had but i dont know the names of em.

Even without the cichlid, it isn't a good idea to house a zebra with anything territorial, which all plecos are territorial to some extent. Also, many breeders will only sell zebras in groups which is designed to keep breeding groups going.

it would take years to grow those out.....
Not that long really. Mangos aren't that slow of growers, and regardless of growth rate, they still exceed the size.

While I disagree on the part that mangos and nigrolineatus morphs grow particularly quickly, I would completely agree with Fyas assesment on the unsuitability of ANY pseudacanthicus or non panaqolus panaque for a 50 g setup.

Also, IMO, you're better off reserving those h. zebra for a prospective breeder somewhere.

well i guess i can let the zebras go, would of been nice though, that leaves his spot on the team open. back to planetcatfish

L183 and L200's would add some color and definitely be in the size range. Also check out exoticfinds.net for some photos and max sizes. Maybe an L134 to add some stripes you will be missing the subtraction of the zebs. I agree that pseudacanthicus species are off the list as well. They are very aggressive and have different dietary needs than the other species.
