The smallest is 7" and the biggest is 9". I don't expect too much more growth for any of them... They are captive breed and probably won't even get to 10", although that would be cool. The 9" sen hasn't grown any since I got her (except in girth), so I am guessing she is full grown.

yes ornates are upper-jaw
you can differentiate an upper jaw from a lower jaw because on an upper jaw bichir, the upper jaw protrudes, and vice- versa.

lol... I know, I think it's kinda funny. The sens (besides the big one) have been together for over a year with me, so they are more than comfortable with each other.


It's been happening less and less now, though.
