Upper or lower jaw?

If it’s any consolation Delhezi are apparently a transitional species, between upper and lower jaw. Once mine got comfortable in their tank, they are very active. When they feel my foot steps they come out and start swimming around. (Pigs)

Oh I agree Gucci’s my delhezi and hes a nut very active very beautiful fish but still like Polyaddict86 said there’s just something about the prehistoric monster look of the lower jaws

Yeah LJs look a lot better than upper jaws but upper jaws are way more active so they're my favorite.

This isnt always the case. Plenty of UJ's are logs too. If i had to say what was the most active poly ive ever owned it would probably be a tie between my old ornate and one of my congicus.

It's the case for me. I own dels (and endlis now) and they are all logs.

Like many have said, I also started with UJ cuz that’s all I had access to locally. It was a year later that I bought some LJ. LJ is the way to go if you want monster. UJ is better for a community tank since it’s less likely to kill tankmates.
