Fish do that in shock - It looks like you had a spike of ammonia or something like that. You say you have tested your water, but you didn't tell us the results. Or maybe your test kits are older? (Expired) I mean, man, there IS an explanation. They aren't doing this for kicks... WATER PARAMS!!!

amonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 10
ph 6.0

Name all the stuff in your tank it might be something u have in there Or how often do u change your filter system

i have an undergravel filter, a fluval +4 internal filter about 20 fake plants small roman ruin models 1 large roman ruin model gravel and 3 heaters.

i use a gravel cleaner to remove 50 to 60 liters of water a week sometimes twice a week. the internal 1 have only had for 1 week (had to buy to clear water with carbon) the carbon was changed on wednesday as intructed by my fish shop

i am doing something good as both of the fish are swimming around fine. as mentioned earlier one of the fish looked to have a burn on its side turned out to be fungus i have cleared this with protozin i( i think this is uk version of your melfix )

what size tank and filters do you have you may need more filtration.i like fluval canister filters. they work great

i have a 4ft tank and the undergravel is ok to filter the tank on its own and the fluval +4 internel filter is also ok to filter the tank its own so having the both run together gives my more than enough filtration. and as my water readings are 0 my filters are ding there job
