I still have my mom tahnk god but I have a couple friends that lost their mom and they still tell me yo momma jokes. I guess it's just how recieve and react to the joke. I personally do not know what it feels like so I can't make many assumptions.

I love yo momma jokes. But the thing is, they are never directed at anyone. They are just uproportionalized sayings.
If I was you, I would stop taking offense to them. Your momma jokes rock! Their simple humor, and like Mystix said above, not directed at anyone. So relax, and enjoy a good joke
