URGENT Advice!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They were general freight hence the delay. I am very excited because I watched the motoro eat 8 ghost shrimp and now has a bulging belly. I put some pieces of earthworm in the tank this morning at 5 am and the flower jumped on top of them and ate 2 pieces. Now that I know they are eating it is time to fatten them up. I will keep everyone updated.

I was shocked myself. The motoro is in the worst shape and his belly was sunk in along with everything else. I figured she would be the one that would die of the two. I put some ghost shrimp in about 1 hour after putting him in the tank and he jumped on the first one. I haven't found a motoro yet that can resist a good old ghost shrimp. She was kept in a tank at the supplier with multiple motoros. It had to of been parasites and the competition for food that thinned her out.

good news! glad to hear they're eating.

I came home to find them covered in fish lice. I know that they had 2 or 3 on each of them, but today the poor motoro had about 15 on him and the flower had about 6. They must of been hiding in their gills. I hated to do it, but I pulled them out like I did my male castexi and picked them off. They still have 1-2 each that I missed. I am waiting till the day after tomorrow to do it again. I also did a water change while I had them out of the tank. They both ate 15 minutes after I returned them so it must of not been too stressful. More updates to come. By the way, this is my first ray rescue so I am taking a good picture trail.
