URGENT : arowana affected by UV light

here are the pics. you can see clearly near the rim of the scale, some are reddish, i guess these scales were badly burnt. some are fissured and it's eyes have a whitish veil partially covering it. i can see that the scale is peeling like human skin. hope it recovers well and soon

i wouldnt add too much salt to a tank with an arowana. they dont do good with salt. I think its the uv light. once i put an arawana in my pond, and it suffered stress and it lost its boyance, and its eyes faced the sun and turned whiteish, so it might be the uv light. good luck with the treatment process thou.

how did you treat it? im doing water a half water change everyday and adding some salt. its doing fine, eating and swimming normally.

No way does the UV burn. ( I presume you have it in its covered casing, correctly installed )

Have you checked your parametres? May be ammonia burn.

Have you got a test kit yet. they are fairly cheap !
