I think this goes here. Any special medication can help it?

Yesterday morning I went to school, my female carpintis looked so fine. But last night when I came home, found the female dead on the male side of the divider with all scales bitten off, cloudy eyes and left with white meaty body, but it was still breathing. Its back looked redish/bleeding. As you can see in the picture, the male almost bit through her belly.

I put it in a bucket with 1 spoon API salt per gallon and full cap of stress coat. This morning it is still alive. So i guess she still has hope.

Aww, that is so bad.... so sorry to hear that!

Not sure what you can do to be honest other than hope she has the strength to pull through!

i've just picked up pimafix, but the fish looks froze lol.

You guys think that she still has hope?

Do you have any aeration in that bucket? Any kind of Filtration?

only aeration no filtration. water from the tank. David do u think it has hope? I treating with stress coat, salt, and pimafix.
I was only out for one day, and it turned out like this.

I don't know? Looks pretty bad, but you may have hope. Is she trying to swim at all? If you can, get a 10g tank from petland, and a box filter, and put her in that. Add some of your media from your tank to the box filter also. Melafix is a bit better for wounds, but you have to make sure there is a lot of air in the water, because it depletes oxygen. And the last thing you want now is for the fish to be more stressed from water quality. Only time will tell, sorry. Also try putting more decorations and hiding spots next time so that they can have somewhere to hide when being picked on. Dithers might also help.

i divided male and the female, and i also had a lot of decor.
I can get 5g 10g 20g friend a friend for free but I really can't find an extra space for it.
Pimafix was the last bottle in there, i asked for melafix but they were out of stock, and the fishman was telling me that pimafix is better....

there is always hope, until the fish is actually dead . . . aeration and filtration is key, and rest . . . I would have thought melafix would be better in this situation, but just getting her isolated is the most important thing right now . . .

I would also say Pimafix rather than Melafix, because fungus is the overwhelming risk in this situation, and Pimafix is aimed at fungal infections. You can use both together if you wish. Melafix does not actually reduce oxygen levels, by the way.

Any update on this, Dominator?

EDIT: Don't worry, I just saw your other thread on this :(
