hi need help on whats wrong with my koi and what to do!
some of my big koi got redish colour on thier anal fins and back fins and bloodshot eyes! they seem dozy as never saw the net coming!
one dead this morning and a few on thier way out! what is this??? how do i treat ?? will they all die??

What are you parameters? sounds water related. I would do a full test, and then report back to this thred...

ph 7.8 bit high but always been that nitrite 0 amonia 0 what else test for?? we had lot of rain yesterdy

What is the temp? Has it been a while since the last rain? could something have washed in to the pond? Is there a lot of pollution in Scotland? How often do you change water and how much. Can you take pics? Tell us anything else of any relevance so we can start getting to the bottom of this....

the temp ok its warming up! nothing could have got in pond, we did part water change about a month ago but it tops itself up with all the rain we get here.
the water is crystal clear, we have a lot of hair algae growing over the last 6 months but nothing near pond that could pollute, could it be a virus?
have phoned my vets but think they will be clueless.
