yeah i do call it urgent,its doing my flippin head in running every combination of fish you could possibly think of through my head all day long lol.i just want to sort out the fish,get them settled in and enjoy them.

Anne pretty much nailed all the good ones
i personally like to have some mid top level action to go with the bottom dwelling bichirs.
i have bala sharks and a hujeta gar*(not a true gar).
i also have bottom level guys that do well with the bichirs...syn. eupterus and clown loach
some people have had some territorial issues with some synos.
i had a bad expierence with a rainbow shark nipping at everyone in sight.
kind of same thing with apollo shark...aggressive to similiar looking fish, ie balas.

i got a 3 inch semaprochilodus taeniurus today to go with my 2 senegal bichirs.my lfs has a group of 10 congo tetras.how does this sound????
It's really going to depend on how agressive the bichirs are.Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't if you had a second tank i would suggest breeding the tetras
or growing them out to adult size.-Anne
