Gone...Gone...and Gone. to late to save it.

All my dats are gone. over $1200 down the drain.

Dude u serious..? All dead again ??

Why did the other ones die...?

Im realy sorry for ur loss bro... This got to be some of the biggest losses i've ever heard...

Sorry to hear man, thats terrible. It definetly sounds like the ammonia was just too much after you removed your gravel. Your gravel is home to lots of bacteria, and I guess after losing all that bacteria your tank couldnt process the amount of ammonia present. If you try and do that again, try to remove the gravel slowly over a couple weeks, maybe add an established filter to the tank in the meantime. Really sorry to hear though man, its a common mistake that anyone could have made.

That is horrible...So sorry!!!

Sorry about your fish. Removing gravel from tank is probably a reason for the disaster. Not only do you remove beneficial bacteria culture interupting the biological cycle; but you also release anaerobic bacteria and any toxins from gravel into water column. Some fish (i.e. Dats) can be very sensitive to water conditions, so they get wiped out during low O2 and/or high toxic events.
