I brought two new Congo spotted puffers very large size and they both look female as they are big and I already had a medium size male in the existing tank.
As soon as I added the new two females, the male one bites the belly of the females. Will the male kill them by biting the females bellies? What should I do? 249583DC-7AEA-4BFA-82CC-70E0CA3146F3.jpeg

Any visible damage?
I’d guess they are trying to figure out the hierarchy at this point.

I believe it is part of their mating habits for the male to bite the females belly.

so that means that the male will not hurt the females?
