Thank you for your help brother! As per advised I have got one more TAT to be with him. I just afraid their eye will be hurted during fighting. I will try teach him to feed shrimp and hope it will grow healthy.
Please let me know more if you got any special species as it is quite difficult to meet a professional like you in HK brother!

Im no expert but suggest to feed it live fish and get the armatus back to health before trying to go off live. can you tell me which shop you found this fish and cost? i got a few small armatus but 6" would be a nice size to mix with the fish i have now. thanks

wow great find. armatus has been very hard to get up until this week. there's a store on the smelly tofu side and back few shops. then there's a place beyond the esso station in the small ally that said they'd get some soon. other oddball sellers have also been mentioning this so my guess is soon we'll see them commonly available. The "hot chili (arowana) shop has a few tats in good condition for sale. others i've seen are in bad cond.

Fish Face near the end of the street has some Tats...
They got some nice oddballs there.

I've never kept one, this is just from reading but they say that you should try to convert your payara to taking nonliving food, fresh and frozen fish like smelt and mackerel. When they are younger silversides are a better size.

That is said about all aquarium fish.

But most people know that the best diet for a fish is what they would consume in the wild where they have a choice.

And this fish looks the way it does because of many many many years worth of evolution. It has evolved into a live fish hunting specialist

Take notice of the extra large eyes and one of the biggest sets of teeth out of all the fresh water fish.

They don't get them from eating pellets and shrimp.:D
