I was feeding my silver dollars zucchini and by surprise my arowana ate a piece. The piece is too large for his mouth and the zucchini is stuck there. He doesn't seem stressed out, but should I pull the zucchini out of his mouth so he doesn't choke or just let it play itself out? Please let me know as this is my favorite fish and I would be devastated to lose it

I would wait a little and see if he gets it down as long as he has water flowing in between his gills should be fine but post a pic just in case

The zucchini is still in his mouth, but he keeps spitting it out halfway, and than retrying to swallow it.. Is this a good sign as it not being stuck? Or a bad sign because he isn't spitting it all the way out?

Just checked and it's out! Idk if he swallowed it or spit it out but it's not in the tank anymore. I literally had the tweezers and net in my hand ready to take him out when I realized it was no longer in his mouth. Thank you guys so much for all of the advice. I'll cut the zucchini much smaller next time :)
