Parrot is too big for 55. Save yourself the trouble, trade him in or start a bigger tank. The Princess Parrot is 13.5", but needs a 135 gal aquarium because of the waste it produces. A Pterios Volitans get up to 15" but will live a full life in a 55 gal. These are minimum for the fish to live a ful life. Depending on the species of parrot you are keeping, is how big of a tank you need.

No he isn't he is only a 1 and a half inches long. I will move him up once he gets up to 4-5 inches.
