I could pick up a really nice Silver Arowana tomorow.
Do you think it would survive in my tank?
Stock:
Midas 4"
Festae 5"
2 Oscars 4" and 3"
Jack Dempsey 2"
Texas 3"
Clarius 4"
Fire Eel 7"
Its a 4x18x18 and all the fish are fairly placid, the Midas is the boss and keeps everyone in check.

The Silver Arowana is 8"

Please i really need answers soon or ill lose my chance to buy!
Thanks guys

If you don't have a 300 gallon tank lined up, no way. That is a 70 gallon tank with enough stock in it for a 250 gallon tank. And you want to add more to it?!?!!!?!?

Yes i know and i already have an 8x4 im just waiting to move out of my flat. Ill be here a month tops, but im upstairs so no big tank.

Wait until you move and the other tank is set up. Other aros will come along.

Have a house ready for him when you buy him, you don' t have one now.

no not a good combination

definately wait till ur other tank is up and running. if silvers are not common in ur area then a deposit would be a good idea if the lfs will do that for u. i would also check craigslist and classifieds cuz i always see arowanas that outgrow people's tanks up for adoption
