i could see scutes on the other one in the first picture, that one also didn't have a terminal band on the caudal fin.

Oh,maybe I have get wrong.Anyway....I really get tired for looking similer Piranha,so just keep it for Sanchezi!!And donnot want to chasing the question for Rhom ornot!!

well a juvie sanchezi can have a terminal band as well, but they tend to fade when they are unhealthy, whereas a juvie rhom should always have a nice dark terminal band, and the level of aggression has absolutely nothing to do with positively IDing a fish

i would say that if you really want a rhom, you should either spend a bunch of time familiarizing yourself with the characteristics of juvie serras, take a picture a post here before you purchase, or buy a larger one so you can know for sure that it is a rhom.

Yes this is Sanchezi.The seller must take back that fish give your money.Or he must give the fishes what you wanted from himself.But in my opinion this is very nice Sanchezi.
