yeah im aware of that =/ i have them at 20-22C at all times, but atm they are at 26 incase of parasites. Bleheris can survive 28C but only for a brief period so i don't think it was the temperature

Hi, it could be a bacterial infection, how young are the channa?

try not to increase temp too much, it could be that there was one that had been bullied or health might have been low, younger channa sometimes are quite weak, esp things like channa pluero theres a big death rate in juvi channa not leaving many making it to adulthood, i had a group of channa banks a while back and they all suddenly died one by one, never found out what caused that, all readings were perfect, temp was correct and there was no signs of diesase, the only thing i could think was the ph as mine is quite high at 8.0-8.2............

how are they acting now? are they all eating ok and going about there usual bussiness? try also not to change to much water channa dont seem to like fresh water to much,
