urghhh. is this a yellow perch or a rock bass

So i want this fish in my tank, but my uncle says it is a rock bass, what most call em NC. I look at pics and it says yellow perch, really pretty fish, I want 6 sunfish and 1 of this in my 125.

Definitely a perch, I had a european perch...he was a really cool fish.

Yellow perch heard they were good eating haha I wouldn't eat anything out of the deleware or rancocas creek I catch and release

Definitely with out question a yellow perch

They are pretty tank fish but they tend to lay around on the bottom and do little to nothing during high light periods of the day unless your feeding them. I have had many in my 210.

^i agree with this, i have 2 atm. They are much better suited for wild then aquariums imo
