i think posting info in this thread would be better thatn showing him what this "google" is, thanks anyways buddy

uro's are known for 2 things- aggression, and size, they are a large growing aggresive fish that will easily fill up a 120 by itself and kill other tank mates, so i would keep it alone, they look simalar to red terror cichlids, uro's are also known as false red terrors because of this.:)

I know that my comment was a little sarcastic and rude, but noidea's questions could have all been answered with a few minutes of research. Anyway, I agree with XR, you're looking at a single specimen tank with a uro. I have never kept them myself, but all the I have read about them says that they are crazy aggressive. A uro looks alot like dull-colored festae, the difference being that festae have a "Y" shape behind the head, while uro's just have verticle stripes. If I were you I would try to keep the uro in a smaller tank, like 75 gallons or so, and then start a bit of a cichlid community in the 120.

What is the point of this forum if he should just research it first? I think you could do more in a 120 than just the two. It does of course depend on the size of the Uro and it'a aggression level. You could do 2-3 other robust cichlids who could hold their own.

Yup.

I really wanted to get the opinion of some people that have owned the cichlid. Yes I should have used google to look for pics, but most of the info I find is how big they get and where they're form. Not for much personal exsperience.
