Uruguay collecting trip, March 10-17. Let's go!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well my surgery has been confirmed for the first week of March and I can't cancel, way too expensive to mess with because of insurance. I want to go on one of these trips in the worst way. December sounds like a sure thing for me.

Best of luck on the surgery, Mike! You'll have an awesome time in December...

I know it's not in the cards for everyone but you can participate in one of these trips for not much more than a regular vacation to Florida, Vegas or wherever. A way to make this sort of thing even more affordable is to use points for airfare. I have an American Airlines credit card...and am also, of course, signed up for points with the airline.

Is there a limit of what we can take back home?

There is but you can still take plenty of fishes. I could be wrong but if I remember you are allowed 24 Gymnos (6 of a species), 14 pikes (4 per species), and I don't remember the rest for catfish, characins and other cichlids. You are more limited by what you can fit in your suitcases than species limit.

Exactly - I brought back three large suitcases full of fish last trip...and still didn't have all of the fish I could have brought back!
