Uruguayan Cichlid planted tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Her initial estimate was 6x2x3' though, so a 2" margin of error (she thought it was 18" wide) wasn't too bad.

Yes, 25" tall including the trim. It's about 140 gallons based on the internal dimensions.

stocking plan?

Everything in the 75 will be transferred over and I will add more Uruguayan cichlids. Also probably a large school of buenos aires tetras.

All the fish from my 29 will be moved into the 75, so like 7 yo yo loaches and some assorted community fish.

Amazing setup.... I'm jealous.

incoming humpage...

the smaller male balzanii is developing a square forehead, he's not as timid as the big male and seems more interested in the ladies. No breeding yet, but the temp is low so hopefully things will start happening in a few months when I start bring the temperature up again.

I'm resealing the big tank and I'm going to stain the stand.
